Instead of watching the traditional New Year's Eve programming, while staying off the streets, I have discovered the best shows to watch.

At 11:30 on Cartoon Network, Peter falls in love with the song, "Surfer Bird", on "Family Guy".

At Midnight on TBS, Crazy Joe Davola visits the opera on "Seinfeld".

And, at 11:00, Travis Pastrana tries to jump a car from ramp-to-ramp by the Queen Mary on ESPN.

Meal of Links

Roger Ebert names his Best Films of the Decade. He has "The Hurt Locker" at Number 2.

Disney buys Marvel. Spider-Man on Sportscenter?

There seems to be more going on with that Amsterdam-to-Detroit Christmas flight than the authorities are willing to state publicly. Seems there was a second guy involved. The eyewitness doesn't appear to be a whack job, either.

Foodgasms from Food Network. Giada is in the house! BTW, last night I saw Adam Richman eat this ice cream dish from SF on "Man Vs. Food" and I almost got sick for him.

Best Protest Signs of 2009. I busted a gut at #27 and 28. I don't care how many might be Photoshopped either, like #50.

Exercise Yard

Did Shaq really give LeBron a Rolls Royce Phantom for his birthday? Really?
